McConnell attached two poison pill amendments to the $2000 checks that caused Democrats to vote against them: 1) setting up a “commission” to investigate “election fraud” (which is a bunch of bullshit) and 2) repealing Section 230 which prevents social media companies from being liable for what users post (which would in turn cause the companies to censor their users like crazy)

It was not a “clean” bill for $2000 checks

So why is the OP of the tweet and OP of this post deliberately obfuscating the reason why Democrats voted against $2000 checks? What is their motive?

Is it to turn people against Democrats, who have actually been arguing for more direct payments since May? And actually passed numerous bills in the House?

Don’t trust like that. Read shit yourself. This post is bullshit.
